Blogging SECRETS - The Big Picture

Internet Marketing: The Big Picture Created By Terri StallcopThe secret to blogging for business is understanding the bigger picture of your overall marketing funnel.  Your blog may be the hub of your business but if no one ever reads it, does it still exist?

If you intend to make money online with your blog, you need to map out your strategy.

Use technical search engine optimization (SEO 1.0) in articles to link to your blog and use social media (SEO 2.0) to also optimize your blog.  In fact, "social proof" (comments, etc.) is becoming even more powerful than technical SEO.

Inside your blog, make sure your content is rich with value.  Your articles and social media marketing should be good, but the content in your blog should be great!

Your blog is like the door to your sales funnel, but remember, it's not where you make the sale.  It's where you lead people into the sales funnel.  Think of your blog as your pre-sell site.   Create links inside your excellent blog posts that take people to your sales letters and lead capture pages.

In other words, link from content OUTSIDE your blog to your blog. And then link from your blog to your sales funnel.  That's the big picture.  If you link everything to a sales pitch, you fail to pre-sell and few will buy.

The web content you create should be a very high percentage of free valuable information that will attract your target market.  That pre-sells you and your business for the sale.  It's a formula Ken Envoy calls CTPM:

Content-->Traffic-->PRE-SELL-->Monetize (CTPM)

What you are pre-selling is basically YOU.

People buy the most from businesses they know and trust.  That's especially critical for those of us who are practicing Internet MLM.  Attraction Marketing (giving before getting) is a must.

You DO Need A Business Blog

Business Week says, "A [business] blog is simply the most explosive outbreak in the information world since the Internet itself... blogs are a phenomenon that you cannot ignore, postpone, or delegate. Given the changes barreling down upon us, blogs are not a business elective. They're a prerequisite."

Do you have a blog?  It's now your prerequi-site :) of conducting business online.  If you are not blogging for business you are missing the very center of The BIG Picture.  It's your hub of business where people can come in, browse around, study, shop, and join your team.

But first they have to find you.  People have to be able to follow the bread crumbs, meaning that the big picture of internet marketing uses attraction marketing to bring people into your blog and sales funnel.

All business relationships start with trust.  A blog is like your home.  Invite others into your home using all kinds of outside bread crumbs that lead people to your blog, your home.  Use images, articles, videos, email, social media, etc.  Essentially if you use all aspects of internet marketing lead to your blog and sales funnel, it's a very powerful way to not only build a blogging business but also to build a very powerful multi-level marketing machine!

Inside the coaching club, I take you first through the steps of setting up a new blog in Module 1 called Blogging Basics.

Within less than 2 hours you will have your new blog up and running with even your sales funnel linked in.  Sign up for your $1 trial and let's get started!

Home based business and internet promoted by Jeff Paul marketing are running the grass-root level micro economics. Some times I feel it’s a blessing.
