Leverage Google Adwords To Find The Best Keywords For Your Organic (Free) Marketing On Google

Pay Per Click(PPC) Domination

To dominate Google Adwords in your target market is not as scary as people think.  You can loose money during your learning curve but that should not scare you.  Just think of it as the price for continuing marketing education. 

What I do is baby sit my Google Adwords campaigns while I learn from the tons of education out there on Google Adwords.  It's not that long or costly to find out very soon what some of the best keywords are for the particular target market niche I'm trying to reach.  

Split Testing

I'm actually just split testing with PPC ads long enough to not just guess about what I need to write about to reach the people who are searching for what I have to offer.  It's never my first guess. So why waste time going for keywords in article marketing and video marketing if they are the wrong ones, right?

There's quite a bit of evidence that Adwords is still the #1 "most sought after source of new business in the western economy." (Cherie Yvette) 

 

What Google wants is to give the end user what they are searching for on Google.  How popular is your pay per click ad?

Your Google Adwords will measure the popularity of your ad with interesting metrics:

  • How many clicks does your ad generate per views?  The click through rate (CTR - clicks divided by views)
  • After clicking, how long do people stay on your landing page?  The relevance of your content is measured by the most frequently used button on the net - the back button.  
  • How much better is your competitor?  Your competitor is on page one ahead of you.
